Some artists talk about a piece arriving whole. Others describe a long negotiation with the material. A few are now exploring generative systems as partners. Whatever your view, the underlying question is the same: where does creative influence live? Is it in the hand, the eye, the training data, the collector's gaze, or somewhere we have not named yet?
